About Me

I've loved animals, (especially horses!) for as long as I can remember. I wheedled a kitten out of my mom in elementary school, a dog in middle school, and finally riding lessons in high school. I've ridden and cared for horses for 17 years and became the proud owner of my very first horse, an abused, malnourished thoroughbred I named "Jack of Hearts" in 2003. That's him over there on the right - isn't he handsome?!

My love of animals and loathing of office jobs finally convinced me to leave the indoors behind and go to farrier school in Georgia. I graduated recently and am now accepting new clients in the Southern Maryland and surrounding areas. If you are looking for a farrier please call or email; I would love to meet you and your animals and help you reach your healthy hoof goals.
